Bubble League

Dive into the Antarctic Colosseum and lead your team to glory! Use Bubble Jets to Build your Boost and Charge for the Goal! It's 2-vs-2 Couch Competitive Fun! Will you bring home the W?

Inspired by Emperor Penguins' ability to store air in their feathers and release bubbles to enhance their movement through water, we created Bubble League. It's like Rocket League... for Penguins... in charming, old-school 2D!

This game can be played with 2-4 players and is BEST experienced with 4.

HOW TO PLAY:
Swim with your teammate and knock the ball into the opposite team's Bell while defending your own. Manage your speed with Braking and Boosting. Spin left or right to knock the ball and other players flying. You'll need to charge your Bubbles to Boost (Notice the Green Ring around your player's nameplate. Bubbles with refill slowly under water, faster above water, and instantly at a Bubble Vent. The first team to score 5 points wins!

*Gen AI was only used for our hero image. All in-game art assets were created without Gen AI.

**Bug Report for v1.01: PLEASE RESTART GAME BETWEEN ROUNDS! Physics feel great in Round 1 but are broken in following rounds.**

**v1.01 is the version submitted during the game jam. Some minor bugs and typos were fixed, as well as more bubbles - in v1.02, the next day.**
